Bergamot Mint is an erect, branching herb with thin, peetioled, broadly ovate or elliptical leaves. The flowers are small, seen in the uppermost axils and short dense terminal spikes.
The leaf contains linalool and linalyl acetate. The mint oil is used in soaps, perfumes and toiletry items.
It is also known as marsh mint, vilayati-pudina and lemon mint.
