Beed




Beed is the administrative headquarters of Beed District in Maharashtra and is around 175 km south of Aurangabad.

Places of tourist interest include Jyotirling of Parli-Vaijnath, Yogeshwari temple of Ambejogai and Naigaon Peacock Sanctuary, the only one of its kind in the state.

Nearest airport is at Aurangabad. Parli Vaijnath Railway Station is the nearest railhead. National Highway 211 has its route through Beed.
