Bedi, situated at 13 km from the Gulf of Kutch, is a port town in Jamnagar District of Gujarat. Jamnagar is 4 km from Bedi and National Highway 8 is about 21 km, to the south-east. Bedi is 732 km north-west of Mumbai, 56 km south of Kandla and 93 km east of Okha.
Bedi is renowned for its intermediate anchorage port, on the shore of the mighty Arabian Sea. The port is ideal for handling agricultural products, coal and bauxite. Major oil refineries, power plants, casting and forging plants are also situated here.
