Basrur Mahalasa Narayani Temple is situated at
Basrur near
Kundapur in
Udupi District. The main deity worshiped in the temple is of Sri Mahalasa Narayani.
It is one of the oldest temples in the taluk and comprises of a 3000 square feet magnificent tower. The wall of the tower is carved with stories from the epics. Windows and doors of the temple are adorned with craft works.
