Baron Butterfly

Baron (Euthalia aconthea meridionalis), one of the prettiest of Indian butterflies, belongs to the spicies Euthalia.

It is commonly seen in the forests of South India. It is found on rotten vegetables and fruits, toddy, plant sap and damp patches, and in cities and crowded markets. Because of its territorial habit, Baron usually comes back to the same spot repeatedly.
