Barna is a small village located about 20 km south-west of Kurukshetra in Haryana. Tradition has it that this village was sanctified by Guru Tegh Bahadur with his presence during the journey to Kurukshetra. A Gurdwara has been built at Barna to commemorate the visit of guru. The Gurdwara is believed to be built by Bhai Ude Singh.
By road, Barna is well linked with Kurukshetra by Kaithal Road. Kurukshetra Junction Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
