Baras

Baras lies on the banks of the Chautang River, in Karnal District of Haryana. It lies towards the western part of the district, 4 km north of Nisang and 18 km south-west of Taraori.

Indira Gandhi International Airport is the nearest airport. Karnal Railway Station (20 km) is the closest railhead. The state highway connecting Karnal and Kaithal passes close to Baras.
