Bandini (also known as Tie-Dye) is an Indian technique of making hand printed cotton fabric. This is also called 'tie and dye method,' for the cloth is first tied and then dyed. After dyeing, the tie is removed and the pattern is revealed. Bandini prints are traditionally from
Rajasthan and are strikingly colorful. The cloth can be retied and dyed to produce more complex patterns in various colours. Bandini can be applied only on 100% cotton fabric.
