Bairhatta is a historic place located in Harirampur Block. Several archeological relics have been discovered at this place. Situated at the eastern side of Srimati River, the place is famous for four big lakes namely Alta Dighi, Millian Dighi, Gor Dighi and Hati Doba Dighi. These lakes are ideal for boating. During winter, many migratory birds arrive here. The historical village Dehaband is located nearby.
