Set at an elevation of about 5,147 ft above sea level, Badra Bala is a village near
Handwara area of
Kupwara District. It is about 59 km from
Srinagar – the state capital. To the west of Badra Bala lies
Shahalpur whereas
Wangam is to the east. The northern part is bounded by Buna Badra and the southern part by
Rishipur.
Buses are available from Rawalpur, Dangiwuts and Larganapur towards Badra Bala. The nearest railhead is at Udhampur.
