Bada Osha




Bada Osha is a major Hindu ritual of fasting. It is celebrated on the fourteenth day of the Karthika (September-October), mainly in Orissa. On this occasion, thousands of people gather at the Dhabaleswar Temple of Lord Mahadev, for the fulfillment of their prayers. This fast is observed by men and women alike.
