Baba Basandi Temple

Baba Basandi Temple is situated on the top of Feti Dhar Hill in Bilaspur District of Himachal Pradesh, nearly 2 km from Rohin village. This shrine is devoted to Basandi Ramand, a famous saint who belonged to Barota Kanainta village near Ghumarwin. Before Babaji became a fully devoted man, he was working in the Police Department, but due to some differences with an officer on the issue of worshipping god during duty time, he left the job. He started his meditation in the cave of a tiger. It is commonly held that the Babaji and tiger were together in the cave for some time. Another saying is that Anand Chand, the last king of Bilaspur state, was born to Raja Vijay Chand by the blessings of Baba.

The people in the surroundings hold the temple in high esteem and during Shivratri, a fair is organized here.
