B D Jatti

B D Jatti was the Vice President of India from 1974 to 1979. He also held the Office of the President of India temporarily from February 11, 1977 to July 25, 1977.

He was born in 1912 and held several high offices before becoming the Vice President. He was the Chief Minister of Mysore State during 1958-62 and the Governor of Orissa. He passed away in 2002.
