Aventurine

Aventurine, a gemstone, is a chemical composition of quartz and silicon dioxide. It is believed that aventurine influences creativity, motivation and leadership in human beings. It is commonly green in color, but also seen in orange, brown, yellow, blue or gray color. This color change is because of the other participles (mica, hematite and goethite) associated with it.

In India, this type of gemstone is found in Bellary District (a green and glistening variety), Belavadi in Hassan District (bluish green variety) and near Sindore (a branded green variety) in Karnataka.
