Aupa Patika Sutra, also known as Ovavaiya, is a revered text of the Jain religion. The teaching and principles contained in it is followed by the
Shwetambar sect. This text is a part of the Jain canonical literature called
Upang Agams, which provides explanation to the thoughts exerted by the primary texts called Agam Sutras.
Aupa Patika Sutra deals with one of the most fascinating issues faced by a spiritual person; that is how to get a place for oneself in heaven. It also contains a detailed account of a magnificent procession taken by a king named Konika on his way to visit the Lord Mahavir.
