Aundha Nagnath Temple

Located in Hingoli District of Maharashtra, Aundha Nagnath is considered to be the first of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India. It is about 65 km from Nanded.

It is said that Dharmraj (Yudishtira), one of the Pandava brothers, built this temple during his Agyant Baas (exile).

This beautiful temple has been built in an area of 60,000 sq ft. The architecture and exquisite carvings reflect the Hemadpanthi Style. A large number of people from far and near assemble here during Shivaratri and Vijayadashmi.

Regular buses connect the temple with Nanded, Parbhani and Aurangabad.
