Attareekhat is a picturesque village situated in Darrang District of Assam, about 28 km from the town of Tangla. According to legends, Ram and Lakshman took refuge in a 'khat' nearby at sage Atrimuni's ashram. Hence the name Attareekhat. The main attraction here is
