Ashtavaidyas

Ashtavaidyas are the traditional physicians of Kerala. Due to the prominent knowledge in all eight branches of the Ayurvedic system of medicine, they are called Ashtavaidyas. They belong to the legion of disciples of Vagbhata acharya, one of the three great scholars of Ayurveda.
