Arya Siddhanta

Arya Siddhanta is an ancient text based on Vedic Astronomy. It was written by Aryabhatta, the renowned astronomer of ancient India. The year of composition is believed to be AD 499.

The text was written in Sanskrit. Later on it was translated into Arabic. The original text however doest not exists today. Only some of its excerpts are available through the referential texts written at a later period. However the principles are still applied today by the practicing astrologers.
