Arrach (Atriplex hortensis) is a tall erect plant seen throughout India. It is also known as Orach, Arage and Mountain Spinach.
The plant is used as a remedy for throat swellings. A decoction of the plant is used for yellow jaundice. It is also cultivated as a vegetable.
