Apricot

Apricot are found in the mid hill zone of Himachal Pradesh. The fruit is round with a depression at the top where the stem is attached. They have a vertical indentation that starts at the stem and goes down one side. The skin is yellow-orange to pink-orange and feels soft and smooth.

These fruit and kernel are used in medicine. Apricot kernel oil has moisturizing, nourishing and revitalizing properties, and can be used in any cosmetic product. It is also used as a regenerative, nourishing and softening beauty mask.
