Apastamba

Apastamba is an ancient Vedic writer on ritual and law who lived around 600 BC. His work, 'Apastamba Sulbasutra' consisting of six chapters, is most interesting from a mathematical point of view. He wrote this text to exemplify the traditional ways of performing religious rites.
