Aoumagu

Aoumagu is a small village in the Minicoy Island of Lakshadweep. It works as a gathering called Baemedu and has a Moopan or Bodukaka (head-man of the village) and Bodudatha (head-woman of the village). The internal organization of the village is headed by the Moopan. It features a beautifully garnished village house. Fishing is the main occupation. The village boat is known as Lanchi.
