Anveshi Library is housed within
Osmania University Campus, in
Hyderabad of
Andhra Pradesh. The collections include rare books and articles written by Indian women over the last 150 years. Among the unique collection is the Telugu journals written by women of the 19th century. There are about 5,000 books and 42 journals, covering various aspects such as women’s studies, theory, culture, history and politics. Video films and photographs that document women’s history are also available. Other collections include Government-NGO documents on issues related to women.
