In Hindu mythology, Anuradha is the daughter of
Daksha and one of the wives of
Lord Chandra. She is the goddess of fortune.
Anuradha is also the 17th nakshatra of the zodiac, falling in the sign Vrishchik (Scorpio). This nakshatra is ruled by Saturn, the planet of hardships and efforts.
