Anjuna Goa Flea Market

Wednesday Flea Market

Anjuna Goa Flea Market, locally known as Wednesday Flea Market, is held in the coconut plantation behind the southern end of Anjuna Beach in North Goa District. It begins at around 11:00 hrs in the morning and continues till dusk.

People from all over Goa flock on this market on Wednesdays to buy Tibetan curios, European snacks, African musical instruments, silver jewellery, traditional Rajasthani clothing, tie dye t-shirts, psychadelic-coloured sarongs and Goa Trance (cassettes of a noisy brand of music.)

An elephant ride and a photograph with a fake sadhu or a fake snake charmer add to its charm. The Chapora Fort is situated nearby.
