Anjubar (Polygonum aviculare) is a prostrate summer annual with small, elliptic leaves. Flowers are very small and inconspicuous, and differ from white to pinkish-white in color. The fruits vary from dark red to brown achene.
Anjubar has astringent and styptic properties. The root is used as anodyne.
