Andhra Scroll Painting

Andhra Scroll Painting is one of the oldest traditions in painting. This technique is used to paint pictorial account of deities and miracles. It is done on fine hand woven cotton using wooden blocks. Vibrant colors and distinct lines are used in this art. This painting style is practiced by a group of families in Warangal, Andhra Pradesh.
