Ambedkar Institute of Management Studies was established in 1995 at
Visakhapatnam. It is an autonomous institute of higher education in management. A two-year full time Post-Graduate program in Business Management (PGDBM) is offered through six trimesters with specializations in marketing management, financial management, human resource management, systems management, and foreign trade. Apart from the academic aspects, the institute carries out research in the areas of management, commerce, economics, and other social sciences. The institute has the facilities of library, computer and a IT–center.
