Alamgir Mosque is situated at Varanasi

. This mosque, otherwise known as Beni Madhav Ka Darera, was constructed by the Mughal Emperor Aurangazeb, at the site where an ancient Vishnu
temple was situated. The architecture of this building reveals an amazing combination of Hindu and Mughal styles. Below this mosque lies the famous bathing point Panjaganga Ghat.
