Akar

Akar Village is situated in Patiala District of Punjab. The village was blessed by the visit of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib, the ninth Sikh guru. To preserve the memory of the visit, a gurdwara was built here. The margosa tree under, which the guru had rested, still exists in this beautiful village.
