Aja Ekadashi

Aja Ekadeshi, also known as Shravan Vadi Ekadashi, falls on the 11th day of the Krishna Paksha of Bhadra (August-September). Lord Janardana along with his consort Sundari is worshipped with Supari and flowers of Shehni. The main offering is ladoos made of jaggery. According to Puranas, King Harischandra observed fast on this day as per the advice of Sage Narada and got rid of all his sufferings.
