Adgaon




Adgaon is a small town 20 km north-west of Ner, in Yavatmal District. It is located near the district’s border with Washim District and is hardly 10 km from Tukli, the nearest settlement in Washim District. Adgaon is around 50 km west of Yavatmal - the district headquarters – and about 40 km north-west of Darwha. Karanja is 19 km west while Kamargaon is 22 km north-west.

Painganga Wildlife Sanctuary and Tipeshwar Wildlife Sanctuary are popular tourist destinations. Mahadeo Temple in Moho village, Chintamani of Kalamb, Shri Ranganath Swami Temple at Wani, Sahastrakund Waterfalls, the Jain pilgrim site of Karanja and Shreekshetra Pohradevi are other options for visitors to this place.
