Adder's Tongue




Adder's Tongue (Botanical name Ophioglossum vulgatum) is commonly seen in moist meadows. It has one leaf, which grows with a stalk, and its appearance resembles the tongue of an adder serpent.

The juice of the leaves is prescribed as a remedy for all manner of wounds in the breasts, bowels, or other parts of the body.
