Place famous for an ancient spring


Acchabal is about 8 km from Anantnag. The place is famous for an ancient spring surrounded by a garden. The upper portion of the garden, called Bagh-e-Begum Abad, was developed by Malk-e-Noor-Jahan Begum in 1620.
