Acalypha, a medium shrub of Euphorbiaceae family, is famous for its copper colored and variegated foliage. The foliage is excellent for contrast effect in landscaping of garden and buildings. The herb produces red and long like catkin flowers throughout the year. Propagation is by means of cuttings.
