Aad is a small fort that lies in the Kalsubai range in Igatpuri region of the
Sahyadris. It is located on the same plateau as the Avandh and Patta forts, towards the east of Avandh. The fort, at a height of 4,046 ft, can be accessed from Tirdhe village in Akole taluk at the base.
This place can be accessed via Nasik. Buses are available to Girwadi, from where one has to walk to Tirdhe village at the base, and then climb up to Aadwadi village at the top of the plateau.
