Qadam Rasul Mosque

Qadam Rasul Mosque is a highly honored shrine located at Gaur, about 12 km south of Malda. This mosque is believed to have been built by Sultan Nusrat Shah in 1513. The footprint of Mohammad is believed to be enshrined in this massive black marble building.

The mosque has stocky basalt pillars and brick walls with a height of 20 m. The pillars support the arches and reflect the architectural excellence of the Mughal period. The shrine is bounded by narrow corridors on three sides. The tomb of Fath Khan is the major attraction nearby.

Malda Town Railway Station is the main station nearby.
