Mayureswar

Mayureswar is a taluk headquarters town situated 11 km east of Sainthia in Birbhum District of West Bengal. The industrial town of Durgapur is around 74 km away. Takipur to the west, Fatehpur to the north, Belgaon to the east and Tilpara to the south are the neighboring towns. Tarapith Temple, Nandikeshwari Temple and Tilpara Barrage are some of the tourist destinations around the town. Sainthia Railway Station is the closest railway station.
