Nasipur Palace




Nasipur Palace, located at Mahimapur in Murshidabad District, was built in the 19th century by Raja Kirtichand Bahadur. The main building Raj Bari is a two storied house with a grand flight of stairs. Ramachandra Temple, one of the largest temples in the district, is inside the compound. The palatial temple of Lakshmi-Narayana is situated nearby. The Jhulan festival organized by Hindu vaishnavs, celebrated in remembrance of the divine love of Radha-Krishna, is held at Nasipur Palace.
