Kherur Mosque is located on the top of a mound at Kherur in Sagardighi, about 30 km from the north-west of Berhampore
. This 15th century mosque covers an area of two acres. It was built by Rafat Khan during the reign of Sultan Alauddin Husain Shah. This rectangular shaped mosque consists of a single domed prayer chamber and a triple domed corridor with four minarets at four corners. There are three arched openings on the eastern, northern and southern sides of the mosque.
