Rajbalhat is a small village in
Hooghly District. This ancient and prosperous village was once the capital of the Bhursut kingdom. A number of temples are located here, among which Radha Kanta Jiu Temple built in the 18th century is worth visiting for its fine Bengali architecture. Other attractions include a fort of the Bhursut kings and the temple of Rajballavi Thakurani.
