Japanese Peace Pagoda




Japanese Peace Pagoda, one of the 70 pagodas built by the Japanese Buddhist Nipponzan Myohoji Organisation around the world, is situated at the end of A J C Bose Road, Darjeeling. This beautiful, gleaming white pagoda, which portrays the various stages in the life of Buddha, was inaugurated in the year 1992. An excellent landmark constructed by the Japanese, the Japanese Peace Pagoda offers a great view of the town and the Himalayan range.
