Jangipara is a village situated in
Hooghly District. Now it is a well known Muslim pilgrimage spot, particularly during the Pir’s Mela every year. There is a mosque built by Muqlish Khan in 1375, which predates the Sufi settlement established here during the reign of Akbar. This place can be accessed by buses from
Chinsurah.
