The Sun Temple at
Katarmal is situated around 15 km from
Almora. This 800-year-old temple complex has as many as one main temple, surrounded by 45 smaller shrines. The temple is noted for its unique architectural style and intricate carvings that adorn its walls. Though amidst ruins, it still stands as a major point of attraction in the region.
