Hudka

Hudka is a double-sided drum. The use of this drum is more prevalent among the folk artists inhabiting the regions near the Himalayas.

The artist playing the Hudka holds it under his arm and performs with a stick. Strings tied around the drum control the tension of the drum and thereby the tone. The strings are adjusted according to the required pitch while playing on it.
