Gangnani is noted for its thermal springs and magnificent views of the
Himalayas. Situated on the way to
Gangotri, its peaceful environment provides an ideal setting for meditation. Pilgrims come here to take a holy dip in the hot water spring of Rishikund. Close to the spring, there's a temple dedicated to
Sage Parasara, father of
Veda Vyas.
