Motichur Wildlife Sanctuary

Motichur Wildlife Sanctuary, also known as Kansro Wildlife Sanctuary, is situated in Dehradun District of Uttaranchal. The sanctuary now forms a part of the Rajaji National Park.

Covered with thick precious herbs and shrubs, the forest is abundant with panther, elephant, sloth bear, wild bear, sambhar, cheetal and chinkara.

The best time to visit is December to April.

Motichur is about 60 km from Dehradun.
