Konch




Konch is a taluk headquarters town in Gaya District of Bihar. It is located at a distance of about 29 km away from Gaya, on the Gaya-Daudnagar road.

The prominent attraction is Koncheswar Mahadev Temple, which is entirely made of bricks. Special puja is offered on Mahashivratri and other auspicious days to propitiate Lord Shiva.

Remains of several other temples are also found here. Konch is around 7 km from Tikari. Buses are available from Gaya and Tikari. Gaya Junction Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
