Muskira is a small town in Hamirpur District
, halfway between Rath and Bewar
. It is 13 km north of Kharela
and to the south of Hamirpur
, the district headquarters.
Maudaha Dam, located to the west of Muskira, is a dam site worth visiting. Trip to City Forest, a nice picnic spot on the Hamirpur-Kalpi road, is a good option. Muskira is also connected by road to Jalalpur, a town on the banks of the Betwa, and Charkhari, a beautiful town known as the ‘Kashmir of Bundelkhand.’
